Using the Search Tool to Locate Potential Housemate

How Do I?

SEARCH for a housemate or find others who are interested in shared housing in my area?

Did you know that you have A LOT of control over the location, cost and other choices through the search options? Here is how it works:

SEARCHING

Click on your desired choice: Search Homes/Search Housemates in the top TABS (shown as HOME, Search Homes, Search Roommates, My Profile...etc)

Under SEARCH (Chose either search homes/search housemates), look below the paragraph describing that page.

"CLICK" on Search Filters (it is a bold, aqua color)

A large list should open up: EXAMPLE shown for display purposes only:

Designate ANY search terms you wish.

NOW, click the SEARCH button below the list (do NOT CLICK reset search!)

The list you are looking for should be sorted to your own preferences now. (YOUR web browser will NOT remember these search preferences. You WILL need to click the search filter each time you restart a NEW browsing session.
